Jack Russell McClary, Jr., 72, husband of Karen Windham McClary, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at his home in Kingstree, SC.
Russell was born December 23, 1952, in Kingstree, a son of the late “Jack” Russell McClary Sr. and Sybil McAlister McClary. He was a graduate of Williamsburg Academy and was a lifelong farmer. He was a good steward of his land and sincerely enjoyed his work. Russell was a sportsman, boxing as a young man, baseball and softball player, avid duck hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his wife Karen, surviving Russell are two daughters, Devan (Ryan) Blankenbaker, and Danielle Foxworth; grandchildren, Allie Blankenbaker, Jackson “JJ” Blankenbaker; a brother, Glenn McClary; and several nieces, nephews and loving cousins. In addition to his parents, Russell was preceded in death by a son, John Ross McClary; and a brother, Danny McClary.

Very sorry to hear this news. I enjoyed hunting with Russell. He was quite a character! His suffering is now over and will surely be remembered!
