Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, October 21, 2018, at Central Presbyterian Church, with a burial in Tisdale Cemetery.
Visitation
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Williamsburg Funeral Home.

Jack Scott, 91, husband of Naomi Binter Scott, died Thursday, October 18, 2018, at his cabin in Salters.
Mr. Jack was born November 19, 1926, in Williamsburg County, a son of the late Robert Cleveland Scott and Mary Elise McCrea Scott. He was in the merchant marines, served 22 months as a Sergeant with the 340th Engineering Construction Battalion during the Korean War. Mr. Jack was a farmer, shriner, an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing. For over 30 years he was a member of the Board of Directors of Tri County Cotton Gin, and in 1979 he was named Farmer of the Year by the Kingstree Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Scott was a member of Central Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder, deacon and a member of the building committee.
Surviving Mr. Jack, in addition to his wife Naomi, are: his children, Mark (Sheryl) Scott, of Salters; Deborah (Kevin) Martin, of Conway; and Jackie (Arthur) Graham, of Lane; sisters, Eula Scott, Gloria Scott, and Nadine Jones, of Kingstree; grandchildren, Sarah S. Kelley, Lindsay M. McDowell, Sawyer G. Reed, Gordon Scott, and A. William Graham; and 6 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents Mr. Scott was preceded in death by a grandson Jonathan Kyle Martin; sisters, Annie Scott and Nell Tisdale; and brothers, Royce C. Scott and Willie James Scott.

I will always remember Mr Jack smiling and saying “lovely” when I’d ask him how he was doing. He will be remembered and missed by many. He was truly one of a kind. RIP Mr Jack.

I must say, Mr. Jack is truly going to be missed in the Farm Office. He was one of my most patient and kind CRP customers in my 34 year career with the agency . His favorite expression to me was always ” take your time . . . I’m not in any hurry ” . You will certainly be missed Mr. J. Praying for each & every member of the family that God will give you peace and comfort in the days to come. . God Bless You All.
