Graveside funeral services will be 3:30 PM Monday, February 17, 2025, at Kingstree Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Janice Thompson Kinard, 75, wife of the late Richard Kinard, passed away Saturday February 15, 2025, after a long illness.
Mrs. Kinard was born December 30, 1949, in Williamsburg County, SC, a daughter of the late Odine Eaddy Thompson and Ealon Sydney Thompson. She was a graduate of Kingstree High School. Janice most enjoyed going fishing and shopping with her family.
Surviving Mrs. Kinard are: her brothers, Barry Thompson (Kathy), of Bowman, Ealon S. Thompson (Ann), of Piedmont; a sister, Alva Dean Cartin (Levern), of Adams Run; and a great niece, Peyton Brinson.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, James Thompson, Leroy Thompson and Ernie Thompson; and sisters, Avis Thompson and Viola Dubose.
