Mr. John Christian Moore, 89, widower of Vera Smith Moore, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020, in Lake City Community Hospital.
Mr. John was born February 12, 1931, in Syracuse, NY, a son of the late Dorwin and Grace Bobzine Moore. He was a Navy Veteran and attended Broad Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mr. John was an electrician and worked at Davis Electrical and Eaddy Electrical. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking.
Surviving are: his sons, John C. “Johnny” (Diane) Moore, of Kingstree; and Dr. Dorwin (Pam) Moore, of Orangeburg; a daughter, Debbie Hill, of Florence; and 4 grandsons, Brian Hill, Fletcher Moore, Hunter Moore, and Chase Moore. Mr. John was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Donald Moore, Robert Moore, and Lawrence Moore, and a sister Lorraine Long.
