Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, August 28, 2016, at Williamsburg Funeral Home Chapel with a burial in Kingstree Memorial Gardens.
Visitation
Mr. Disher’s family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday at Williamsburg Funeral Home. .

John Wesley “Buzzy” Disher, Sr., 60, husband of Irene Kinard Disher, passed away August 25, 2016, at Carolinas Hospital System.
Mr. Disher was born October 15, 1955, in Kingstree, a son of the late Jean Morris Disher Evans. He attended public school in Williamsburg and Clarendon Counties. “Buzzy” was the assistant Tax Assessor in Williamsburg County and was a member of Kingstree Moose Lodge.
Surviving in addition to his wife Irene, of Kingstree, are: sons, John Wesley (Theresa) Disher, Jr., of Greeleyville; and Mark Christopher Disher (Marie Patterson), of Kingstree; sisters, Dottie (Donald) Goins, of Mayesville; Barbara (Ron) Garrick, of Florence; Peggy McCutcheon, of Cades; and Ginger (Jerry) Mouzon, of Kingstree; a brother, David (Rose) Evans, of New Zion; six grandchildren, Nikkolas Dodge, Brittney Webb, Tyler Powell, DJ Gauthier, John Mark Disher, and Leia Ann Disher; many nieces and nephews; his good friend Billy Stackly and brother in-law Danny Ray Mixon.
In addition to his mother, “Buzzy” was preceded in death by a brother, William “Bill” Edward Evans.
