Joye and Sonny were our dearest neighbors in Keowee Key… showering us with gifts of kindness and love… Joye became my big sister- sharing her famous family cookbook, and her wisdom …. How I love that woman!!!!!
We hold you two in our souls forever- and pray for all those beautiful Ward/ Wilson grands who had a true angel on earth in “Nana”….
Our condolences to the family of our dear neighbor. She was a special neighbor and friend to us. She will be missed and thought of frequently. A true southern belle.
Joye was a wonderful friend to our family for many years. Our parents, the Reverend and Mrs. Joel E. Cannon, knew Joye from her childhood onward.
She honored us greatly by naming her son Joel after our Dad.

Condolences to the Wilson family. I pray God comforts the family during this time of bereavement. May the many cherished and loving memories of Joye comfort her family and friends. A comforting scripture to keep in mind is at Isaiah 25:8 “He (GOD) will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” May you all have peace of mind and calming thoughts during this time.
