Judy will be missed by many who came to know her in her role at the college as a loyal conscientious professional with a positive demeanor and as a supportive contributor. She was cheerful and cooperative with a sense of pride in her accomplishments and duty. Working with her was a pleasant rewarding experience because of her enthusiasm and general sense of purpose. She was an early employee and saw the college during it’s formative stages as it grew during her time fulfilling the role of a college in all respects.

It saddens me to read of Mrs. Judy’s passing. I met Mrs. Judy in 1993 at Tech. She was one of a few staff members that I had the privilege of making a genuine connection; from staff support to colleague but more importantly, as a friend. I dare not grace the halls without finding her and getting a hug that only she could give. But I’m grateful our friendship expanded beyond the walls of Tech. I truly loved (and will miss) our chance meetings in “the streets”. What would start out as a quick “Hi, how have you been” would always turn into an hour or more conversation in some random parking lot. It didn’t matter the topic(s) of our conversation, talking about the goodness of God was probably 90% of the conversation. I will truly miss you and forever love you Judy.
