The graveside funeral service will be held 2 PM, Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Kingstree Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.
Visitation
The family will receive friends in the church following the service.

Karen Culick Gause, 63, wife of the late Anthony Gause, died Thursday, March 23, 2023, at her home in Kingstree, surrounded by her beloved family.
Karen was born December 13, 1959, in Sumter, SC, a daughter of Noveleen Gertrude Lee Culick and the late Courtney Eugene Culick. She was a 1978 graduate of Sumter High School and was an employee of Edwards and Mims Insurance Agency for 32 years. She attended Kingstree Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she sang specials for worship service. Karen enjoyed puzzles, shopping, and especially spending time with her family.
Surviving Mrs. Gause, in addition to her mother Noveleen of Scranton, are: her son, Gene Gause of Kingstree; mother-in-law Maedine Gause of Kingstree; sisters, Debra (John Ervin) Chapman of Winnsboro, Wanda Culick of Scranton, and Robyn (Roy) Jones of Georgetown; brother-in-law, Donald Gause of Charleston; nieces, Lisa Robinson, Michelle Rabon, Courtney Anderson, and Kristen Gause; step niece, Chasity Hopkins.
Karen was also preceded in death by her father-in-law, Lee Gause.

I was sad to read about Karen’s passing and so sorry for your loss. I knew her and Anthony. They were two of the nicest people. May the family find comfort in knowing she is with Anthony in their heavenly home. My prayers are with you.
We were sorry to hear about Karen, Sonny will not be able to attend but he is thinking of all of you. He has sent a Memorial to St, Judes Children”s Hospital in her memory.
To all of Karen’s family, we are so sorry for your loss, Karen was a great friend, I have lots of great memories of her that I will never forget. May the comfort of family and friends help with your sorrow, she will be missed.
