Kathy Sauls Quarles, 62, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC.
Kathy was born July 27, 1960, in Valdosta, GA, a daughter of the late Hadie Bryan “H.B.” Sauls and Marie Tindal Sauls. She was a graduate of Kingstree Senior High School and attended Williamsburg Technical College. Kathy enjoyed puzzles, crafts, cards, fishing and especially loving on her grandchildren. She was a member of Kingstree Second Baptist Church.
Surviving Ms. Quarles are: her son, Steven Quarles of Kingstree, SC; her daughter, Kimberly (Heath) Tisdale of Effingham, SC; 4 grandchildren, Wyatt, Bentley, Carley and Matthew; 2 brothers, Dale (Kathy) Sauls of Rock Hill, SC and Kenny (Flossie) Sauls of Lake City, SC; 2 sisters, Debi (James) Porter of Cades, SC and Nancy (Jamie) Brown of Cleveland, GA; and a special friend, Robert Shaw. In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Randy Sauls and Greg Sauls.

To my friends Kim and Steven and to the family. I’m so sorry for your loss. Your mom is a great person and she is the nicest person I have ever met. Mom will be missed but never forgotten. If you need to you know how to get a hold of me.
How blessed that we are to have known our precious Kathy. So full of joy and laughter, heartfelt compassion for others and genuine faith in our Jesus, she inspired us all to live more of what we say that we believe. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you, her beloved children, grandchildren, siblings, in-laws, extended family and dear friends.
