Mr. Kenneth R. Williamson, 86, husband of Avisteriah “Dotsie” Williamson, passed away on January 9, 2015, in McLeod Hospital.
Mr. Williamson was born March 27, 1928, in Williamsburg County, a son of the late George Furman Williamson and Lena Padgett Williamson. He was a High School graduate and attended Clemson College. Mr. Williamson was a WW II Veteran, a Tax Assessor for 24 years and an avid gardener. He was an active member of Kingstree First Baptist Church where he was a trustee, deacon and a member of the George Avent Sunday School Class.
Surviving in addition to his wife “Dotsie” are many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Williamson was preceded in death by 9 siblings.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, January 11, 2015, in Kingstree First Baptist Church, with burial in Kingstree Memorial Gardens. Mr. Williamson’s family will receive friends at Kingstree First Baptist Church following the burial. Memorials may be made to Kingstree First Baptist Church, 400 N.
