Leslie Purdis Gause, 68, died Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Carlyle Senior Care in Kingstree, SC.
Mr. Gause was born July 13, 1955, in Williamsburg County, a son of the late Ossie Purdis Gause and Linnie Mae Powell Gause.
Mr. Gause is survived by: an aunt, Maedine Gause, uncles, Barney Gause and Thomas Gause; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gause was preceded in death by his uncles, Donald Lee Gause and Claude Gause, and his aunts, Juanita Gause Griffin and Ilaphine Gause Feagin

To the family of Purdus Gause I send my condolences. I knew him in our early school years and he was always very kind to me. I did not know he was in a nursing home. May he be at peace with Mr. Ossie and Mrs Linnie Mae.
