Funeral Services
Graveside funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday, November 2, 2019, at Kingstree First Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.
Visitation
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM at Williamsburg Funeral Home in Kingstree.
Mary Elizabeth Floyd, 74, widow of Charles W. Floyd, died peacefully at MUSC in Charleston, SC on Wednesday, October 30, 2019.
Mrs. Floyd was born November 6, 1944, in Williamsburg County, a daughter of the late Samuel Andrew “S.A.” Floyd and Cora Mae Powell Floyd. She was a graduate of Kingstree High School and was employed by Warsaw Manufacturing, later Oxford Industries, for thirty years, serving as a supervisor for many of those years. She was a member of Kingstree Church of God.
Surviving are: her daughter, Lisa Floyd (Andy) McCrea of Kingstree; her son, Sam (Maggie) Floyd of Georgetown; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, David L. Floyd of New Zion and Alpha Floyd of Hartsville. In addition to her parents and her husband Charles, Mary was preceded in death by a son, Charles Floyd, Jr., a brother, Jack Floyd, and a sister, Linda McGee.

Lisa, Sam & family. I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs.Mary was one of a kind. The memories I have of her, I’ll tuck them in my heart. In many ways she was my second mom growing up. She will be greatly missed. Again my condolences for the entire family.
