Funeral services will be 3 PM Thursday, April 15, 2021, in First Free Will Baptist Church with burial to follow in Sandy Bay Cemetery.
Visitation

Mervin Lavern Miles, 77, husband of Judy Matthews Miles, died Monday, April, 12, 2021, surrounded by family at home.
Mr. Miles was born June 16, 1943, in Turbeville, SC, a son of the late Hardy Edward and Mary Jane Welch Miles. He was a self-employed contractor and enjoyed fishing and church activities. He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving Mr. Miles, in addition to his wife Judy, of the home, are: his children, Charlene (Tony) McCrea, Greg “Chubby” (Cindy) Miles, and David “Peanut” Miles, all of Kingstree; daughter-in-law, Annette Miles of Kingstree; 5 grandchildren, Dustin McCrea, Gregory Miles, Ann (Matt) Worrell, Cody Miles, and Matthew Miles; 6 great grandchildren, Rylee and Reed McCrea, Hunter, Allie and Bailey Miles, and Alexis Worrell; 3 brothers, Wayne and Joe Miles, both of Kingstree and Lindy (Jennie) Miles of Turbeville. In addition to his parents, Mr. Miles was preceded in death by a son, Terry Miles, three sisters, Willa Mae Brown, Kathy McGee, and Shirley Miles and two brothers, R.L. Miles and Pete Miles.
