Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, December 6, 2020, in Kingstree Memorial Gardens.
Visitation
Mrs. Floyd’s family will receive friends 4 to 6 PM Saturday at Williamsburg Funeral Home.
Musetta Pandora Bowman Floyd, 81, widow of Lano Floyd, died Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at her home in Kingstree.
Mrs. Floyd was born November 8, 1939, in Burlington, NC, a daughter of the late Jesse Boaz Bowman and Eunice W. Bradshaw Bowman. She graduated from high school in North Carolina and was a dietician at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston for many years. Miss Musetta loved the outdoors, her cats, and most of all spending time with her family. She was a member of Kingstree Presbyterian Church.
Surviving Mrs. Floyd are: two daughters, Lara Triplett-Powell (Gerald Singleton) and Dora Lee Cabral, both of Kingstree; two sons, Leonard L. Floyd (Glenda Yvonne Williams) of Bonneau and Ronald (Layne) Noles, of Sanford, NC; and two sisters, Wanda Picard of Summerville and Vickie Ramsey of Griffin, GA. In addition to her husband and her parents, Miss Musetta was preceded in death by six brothers and six sisters.
Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, December 6, 2020, in Kingstree Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Floyd’s family will receive friends 4 to 6 PM Saturday at Williamsburg Funeral Home. Due to Covid -19, all safety precautions will be taken so please socially distance and wear a mask.
We will miss you dearly mom we didn’t want to let you go but we know you are in a better place now ,you will be missed by everyone that knew you ,you were one special mom❤️❤️❤️❤️,we love you and you will forever be in our hearts you are our Angel that will watch over us
