Funeral services will be 1 PM, Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Williamsburg Funeral Home with burial in Mouzon Family Cemetery.
Visitation
Nell’s family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Williamsburg Funeral Home.
Nell Mouzon Ward, 70, wife of Raymond Otis Ward, Jr., died Friday, July 29, 2022, at their home in Kingstree.
Nell was born April 26, 1952, in Turbeville, SC, a daughter of the late Harry Austin Mouzon and Inez Osborne Mouzon. She was a graduate of Kingstree High School and operated “Nanny’s Daycare” for twelve years. She also worked as a security guard at Firestone for a number of years. Nell and Raymond attended Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving Mrs. Ward, in addition to her husband Otis, are: two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Stanley and Rhonda Gail (Boz) Boswell, both of Kingstree; step son, Ryan Ward of Kingstree; grandsons, Russell Donovan Guy, Jamie Nexsen, and William (Julie) Boswell; great granddaughters, Christina Guy, Dalania Guy, Layla Rayo, Kadence Guy, Lilyan Guy, Ava Guy, and Madison Lee Ward; great grandsons, Randal Austin Guy and Jacob Hodge; great great granddaughter, Skylar Bailey; great great grandson, Charles Rowan McKenzie; and a sister, Lynette Ard. In addition to her parents, Nell was preceded in death by her brothers, Darryl Mouzon, Emory Mouzon, and Mike Mouzon; sons, Christopher Ward and Randal Guy; grandson, Michael Ard; and granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Guy
