Mr. Ossie Purdis Gause, 85, widower of Linnie Mae Powell Gause, died Tuesday, September 10, 2019, in McLeod Regional Medical Center.

     Mr. Gause was born September 26, 1933, in Kingstree, a son of the late Clyde Gause and Josie Carraway Gause. He was retired from Santee Electric Cooperative after 46 years of service. Mr. Gause was a retired minister of the Pentecostal Church having served at Hanna’s Chapel, Quimby, and Greeleyville churches. He was a member of Kingstree Pentecostal Holiness Church.

          Surviving Mr. Gause are his son, Purdis Gause of Summerton, SC and two brothers, Thomas Gause of Virginia and Barney Gause of Kingstree. In addition to his parents and his wife, Mr. Gause was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.

     Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, September 14, 2019, at Williamsburg Funeral Home with burial in Kingstree Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.
