Funeral Services
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Mount Vernon Methodist Church Cemetery, 132 Mount Vernon Road, Greeleyville, SC 29056.
Visitation
The family will receive guests in Grace Hall at Williamsburg Presbyterian Church following the graveside service from 12:30 to 1:30 PM.

Rebecca Ann Mims Barrineau, 58, wife of Michael “Mike” Barrineau, died Saturday, August 2, 2025, at her home in Kingstree, surrounded by her beloved family, after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Rebecca was born January 5, 1967, in Sumter, SC, the daughter of the late Robert Lee “Bobby” Mims and Mary Ruth Huggins Mims. She was a graduate of Williamsburg Academy and a member of Williamsburg Presbyterian Church. Rebecca was a Ducks Unlimited Committee Leader and enjoyed so many of life’s pleasures even as a cancer patient. She loved the beach, enjoyed taking trips to Disney with her family, loved the lake and her pool, and adored her cats.
In addition to her husband Mike of Kingstree, Rebecca is survived by: her daughters, Mary Rebecca Barrineau of Summerton and LeeAnn (Maxi) Lee of Scranton; granddaughter, Marley Lee of Scranton; and brother, Robert (Nikki) Mims of Kingstree.

Mike , this is Dexter Moore and I’m so sorry you have lost Rebecca to this. Awful disease ! She has fought it very hard like my Megan did ! I will be praying for you and your family in the months ahead my friend !
Rebecca was always a bright, shining light. She was a true and steadfast friend, and she will be remembered and missed by all those who loved her.
I am so sorry to hear of Rebecca’s passing. I grew up having her as one of my big sisters and it is hard to imagine her no longer with us. Thinking of you all.
My prayers for the family to find comfort knowing Rebecca is at peace with her mom and dad in heaven! She will surely be missed.
