Mrs. Hammond,
I am very sorry about your husband. Please accept my deepest and sincerest condolences and some words of comfort from God’s Word, the Bible.
The loss of a dear husband of 58 years can cause pain and feelings of loneliness, but know that you are not alone. Our merciful, heavenly Father is there for you to help you through this difficult time. (Psalms 121:1-3; 145:18,19) So, please call upon and accept all the help from “the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials.”~~2 Corinthians 1:3,4~~
Our loving God and Creator did not intend for us to die, so he promises to reunite us with our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. (Job 14:14,15; Acts 24:15) Knowing you will see your dear Ronald again will hopefully bring you some peace and comfort. I will also include you in my prayers.
