Ronald Linton Smith, Jr., 59, died Saturday, November 28, 2020, at his residence after an illness.
Mr. Smith was born November 13, 1961, in Florence, a son of Ann Flagler and Ronnie Smith, Sr. He was a graduate of Williamsburg Academy and the University of South Carolina. He worked with Oakwood Mobile Homes until his retirement, and then with his father at Smith Plants and Vegetables. He was a member of the USC Gamecock Club.
Surviving, in addition to his parents of Kingstree are: a sister: Rhonda P. Smith of Kingstree; and a niece: McKenzie Ann Forester Loos of Houston, TX. Ron was preceded in death by two sisters; Cheryl Angelyn Smith and Sheila Ann Smith Forester and his grandparents; John and Pauline Flagler and Blanche and Fritz Smith, Sr.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your son, your brother and my dear friend. I have so many fond memories with Ron that were always fun times and full of laughter. From the Carolina Cup in Camden to the many dinner parties we shared with our friends. Thank you for being my friend Ron. You will be truly missed.
