Mrs. Hanna’s family will receive friends at Williamsburg funeral Home from 12:30 to 1:30 just prior to the service.

Mrs. Shirley Ferguson Hanna, 92, widow of William Doward Hanna, died Sunday, September 15, 2019, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
Mrs. Hanna was born in Carlisle, England, a daughter of the late Robert Hewitt and Eleanor Hodgson Ferguson. She attended school in England and was a Customer Control Manager for Colonial Rubber. Mrs. Shirley was a member of Kingstree United Methodist Church.
Surviving Mrs. Hanna, are: her children, Deborah G. Hanna, of Effingham, Donna F. Hanna, of Myrtle Beach, and D. Carlisle (Mary) Hanna, of Greeleyville; granddaughter, Krystal Gentry and her fiancé Adam Levings; grandsons, Michael Branham and Brian Branham; great grandchildren, Wyatt Levings and Logan Levings; and a brother, John Cameron (Caroline) Ferguson, of Cambridgeshire, England. Mrs. Shirley was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert H. Ferguson and Joseph D. Ferguson, and two sisters in laws, Margaret Ferguson and June Ferguson.
