Visitation
The family will be accepting visitors at Williamsburg Funeral Home Thursday evening from 6-8 PM.

Shirley Mae Tilton Reardon, age 69, passed from this world and entered the presence of Jesus her Savior on September 13, 2022, after a prolonged illness. Born in Pamplico, SC, she was the daughter of Lottie Mae Bazen Tilton and Alexander Tilton. She was a beloved wife, devoted mother and grandmother. Faith in Christ was the bedrock of her life. She was active in her church and community within Beulah Free Will Baptist Church and later with Midway Presbyterian Church. She used her gift of voice to sing to the Lord within both congregations.
She is survived in death by her husband, Samuel Glendal Reardon, her children Sheryl Renee Reardon Bahrns (David) of North Charleston and Wade Alex Reardon (Jennie) of Greenville, SC. She was preceded in death by her son, Brett Coleman Reardon. She is survived by her beloved grandchildren: Brett and Lilly Bahrns; Lottie, Maryanne, Julia Rose and Elyse Reardon. Surviving is her sister, Betty Edgeworth (Don) of Scranton, but preceded in death by her siblings: brothers Jimmy , Johnny, and Alexander Tilton and sisters, Mary Ann Bellflowers and Lola Mae Tilton.

I am very sorry to hear this sadden news. Glenn, Renee & Wade, Shirley was a very special cousin to me. I still remember going to the movies after church. Them was some of the best times. Our prayers will be with you all.

I’m so sorry to learn that Mrs. Shirley passed. I will always remember her infectious smile, sweet laugh, and the way she quietly but steadfastly supported you all. She was very kind to me every time I met her and I will forever and always remember her fried chicken for being big and delicious!
