Murray Steve Hudson, 68, husband of Vicki Hudson, died Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at his home in Kingstree, surrounded by his beloved family.
Steve was born August 29, 1954, in Kingstree the son of the late Carl Eugene Hudson and Hazel Idelle Miles Hudson. He was a 1972 graduate of Williamsburg Academy and was a farm equipment technician. Steve was an avid fisherman and enjoyed Wednesday Night Supper Club and especially spending time with his family. He was a member of Millwood United Methodist Church.
Surviving Steve, in addition to his wife Vicki, are: his sisters, Claire (Len) Gaskins and Joyce Epps; his children, Chuck (Tracy) Webb, Dwayne (Jamie) Webb, and Angel (Randal) Lee, all of Kingstree, SC, Liza (Kurt) Kelly and Caitlin (Corey) Luther, both of Hartsville, SC; his loving grandchildren, Bonita, Ashley, Montana, Danielle, Tabitha, Sarah, Jordan, Savannah, Trevor, Shaina, Adeline, Peter, Caleb, Judah, James, and Amya; 8 great grandchildren; grands of the heart, Sarah Grace (Brett) Smith and Leanne (Taylor) Scott; special friends, Linda Murphy, Peanut Murphy, and Jenny McFadden; and many special friends who became family.

Claire, I am so sorry for your loss. Did not know Steve but have known you for quite a while. Prayers for your family.
I am indeed saddened to notice the passing of another “old friend”. Steve & I used to hang out together when he worked for Modern Service Station & my Dad worked for Williamsburg Oil Co. next door. We had some fun times which I’ll always remember. I pray God’s blessings & comfort for the entire family.
