Susan “SuSu” Tisdale Mitchum, 59, wife of Mike Mitchum, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Mrs. Mitchum was born February 29, 1956, in Kingstree, a daughter of the late Mims Nesbert Tisdale and Eloise Tisdale. SuSu was a graduate of Williamsburg Academy and was owner of Susan’s Florals and Gifts. She was a member of Lane Methodist Church. Mrs. Mitchum was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are: her Husband, Mike Mitchum, of Kingstree; her daughter, Michele M. (Shannon) Coker, of Kingstree; a granddaughter, Sara Elizabeth Coker, of Kingstree; a sister, Terry Tisdale, of Salters; and her brothers, Dalton N. (Lillian) Tisdale, of Savannah, GA, and Jimmy N. (Peggy) Tisdale, of Florence.
Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at McClary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday at Williamsburg Funeral Home.
