Sylvia Dean Nexsen, 83, died Sunday, December 20, 2020, at Carlyle Senior Care of Kingstree.

  Miss Nexsen was born November 5, 1937 in Williamsburg County, a daughter of the late James Alton and Frances Burrows Nexsen. She was a graduate of Kingstree High School and was employed by Baxter Laboratories for several years.

  Surviving Miss Nexsen are: two sisters, Dorothy N. Quattlebaum, of Lexington, and Jimmie Alice (James) Miller, of Salters; two brothers, David A. Nexsen, of Cades, and Thomas R. Nexsen, of Kingstree. In addition to her parents, Miss Sylvia was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.

     Private graveside funeral services will be held in Williamsburg Cemetery.
