Funeral Services
Graveside services will be held at 3PM Thursday, April 11, 2019, in Williamsburg Cemetery.
Visitation
The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 Thursday, before the service at Williamsburg Funeral Home.
William Benjamin Duke, Jr., 90, died Monday, April 8, 2019, at MUSC of Florence.
Mr. Duke was born June 4, 1928, in Williamsburg County, a son of the late William Benjamin Duke and Annie C. Adams Duke. He attended The Citadel. Mr. William was a veteran of the Army and retired from the United States Postal Service. He was a member of Williamsburg Presbyterian Church.
Surviving Mr. William are: his son, Benjamin M. “Ben” Duke, Sr., of Kingstree; his grandchildren, Benjamin M. (Mackenzie) Duke, Jr., of Benson, NC, Kimberlin Claire Duke, of Moncks Corner, and Henry Franklin Duke, of Myrtle Beach, and his nephews, Bill and Ed McIntosh, of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to his parents, Mr. William was preceded in death by his brother, Clarence Duke, and his sister, Margaret D. McIntosh.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family as you go through these difficult days. May God give you strength and healing. Sorry we can’t be with you. Don is in Heritage Nursing Facility and I had shoulder surgery last week.

Ben – how daddy and I enjoyed horseback riding in my youth with you and your dad ! Daddy is so happy to be reunited with his good friend. May the peace of The Lord be with you.
I’m Thinking of you all. I’m so glad I got to meet him in the fall. He was a special person. I know Mackenzie thought the world of him. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you all over the next few days and in the future!
