     Miss Delma McClam, 90, died December 9, 2013, in Carolinas Hospital in Florence, SC. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM Thursday, December 12, 2013, in Kingstree Memorial Gardens, directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home.
     Miss McClam was born on February 16, 1923, in Williamsburg County, a daughter of the late Solomon Fant McClam and Ada Floyd McClam. She was a graduate of Hebron High School, where she received several scholarship medals and 2 Williamsburg County spelling medals. She attended Winthrop College. Her employment included Lake City State Bank, The Exchange Bank of Kingstree, and Santee Electric Cooperative, Inc., where for several years she was the head of the Billing Department. She retired there after 31 years of service. She was a member of Hebron United Methodist Church.
     After the unexpected death of her brother, Louie McClam, in 1992, her sister, Helen McClam Taylor, with the help of her brother-in-law, Bobby J. Taylor, took care of her daily needs.
 They are her survivors along with a special nephew, Milton McClam, and his wife, Donna McClam, of Kingstree, special cousins, Geneva Calcutt, of Florence and Maurice Floyd, of Grapevine, TX, and her dog BeBe.
