James Verdo “Jimmy”
Wilson, 65, died Friday, January 17, 2014, in Carolinas Hospital in Florence
after an illness.
Mr. Wilson
was born December 30, 1948, in Kingstree, a son of the late Blakely “Pete”
Wilson and Elma McClary Wilson Todd. He was a graduate of Kingstree High
School and served in the U.S. Army.
Surviving are:
his son, Jonathan Wilson, of Kingstree; his sisters, Harriett Mobley of
Salters, Marion Hennessey of Hoods Port, WA, and Ann Parrott of Scranton;
and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside funeral
services will be 11 A.M. Saturday, February 8, 2014, in Salters Methodist
Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service at the Wilmot
McCullough Center in Salters.
