     Daniel Allen “Danny” McFaddin, 52, died Thursday, October 17, 2013, in Williamsburg Regional Hospital.
     Mr. McFaddin was born March 3, 1961, in Kingstree, a son of the late Fred McFaddin and Juanita Lynch McFaddin. He was a graduate of Kingstree High School and attended Spartanburg Methodist College. Danny was the Recreation Director for the Town of Kingstree and had coached baseball teams for Kingstree Recreation Department and Williamsburg Academy. He was a dedicated member of Williamsburg Academy Booster Club. Danny was a former Navy Seal, a former police officer with Cayce Public Safety, Greeleyville Police Department, Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Department and Kingstree Police Department. He was a member of Broad Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church.
     He is survived by: his son, Chase Owen McFaddin, of Myrtle Beach; his daughter, Hope Leah McFaddin, of Kingstree; and 2 brothers, Fred B. (Eudene) McFaddin, of Duluth, GA and Wade (Lissa) McFaddin, of Chattanooga, TN.
     Funeral services will be 3:30 PM, Monday, October 21, 2013, in the gym at Williamsburg Academy in Kingstree, with burial in Second Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM Sunday at Williamsburg Funeral Home.
