Mr. Laverne
L. “Frog” McCutcheon, 67, husband of Peggy Disher McCutcheon, died Sunday
April 6, 2014, at his home.
Mr. McCutcheon
was born November 10, 1946, in Clarendon County, a son of the late Jack
H. and Alberta Springs McCutcheon. He attended Williamsburg County schools
and was owner of McCutcheon’s Grass Mowing. He attended Sandy Bay Pentecostal
Holiness Church. Mr. McCutcheon enjoyed spending time with his family,
cooking barbecue, hunting, fishing, and raising farm animals. He was preceded
in death by a son, Daniel McCutcheon and a brother, Son McCutcheon.
Surviving
are: his wife, Peggy D. McCutcheon, of Cades; 2 daughters, Missy McCutcheon
(Tony Welch) and Lori Ann McCutcheon, both of Cades; a special niece, Eileen
Floyd, of Coward; 2 grandchildren, Daniel Reid McCutcheon and Doodle Martin;
2 sisters, Joann Coker of Cades, and Jackie Price of Kingstree; 2 brothers,
Paul McCutcheon of Kingstree and Rudolph McCutcheon of Cades.
Funeral services
will be 2 PM Wednesday, April 9, 2014, in Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness
Church, with burial to follow in Sandy Bay Cemetery. The family will receive
friends 6-8 PM Tuesday at Williamsburg Funeral Home. Memorials may be made
to Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness Church, 188 Delos Road, Kingstree, SC
29556. Williamsburg Funeral Home is assisting the McCutcheon Family.
