Mary Johnson
Thompson, 81, wife of James W. Thompson, died Friday, January 10, 2014,
in Williamsburg Regional Hospital.
Mrs.
Thompson was born April 15, 1932, in Laurens County, a daughter of the
late Henry Thomas Johnson and Cora Craft Johnson. She was a graduate of
Whitmire schools and was a homemaker.
Surviving,
in addition to her husband James Thompson, of Kingstree are: her children,
Pam (Rick) Pittman, of Raeford, NC, Phyllis (Geoff) Lifrage, of Kingstree,
and “Buster” (Linda) Thompson, also of Kingstree; 8 grandchildren; 6 great
grandchildren; and a brother Junior Johnson, of Whitmire.
Funeral services
will be 2 P.M. Monday in the chapel at Williamsburg Funeral Home, with
burial to follow in Kingstree Memorial Gardens. The family will receive
friends from 1 to 2 PM at the funeral home just prior to the service. Memorials
