     Mrs. Maybelle Moore Thomas, 72, wife of Jerry Thomas, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014, in McLeod Regional Medical Center.
     Mrs. Thomas was born July 27, 1941, in Williamsburg County, a daughter of the late Willie D. Moore and Jesse Micheau Moore. She attended Williamsburg High School, was a homemaker, and for 29 years was the Pastor of the Kingstree Church of God of Prophecy. She was preceded in death by a son Danny Lee Thomas and a brother Heyward D. Moore.
     Surviving, in addition to her husband Jerry, of Kingstree, are: 3 daughters, Judy (Wayne) Floyd, Brenda (Matthew) Evans, and Jill T. Roark, all of Kingstree; 5 grandchildren, Matthew Evans, Jr., Megan Evans, Taylor Welch, Brenna Welch, & Rylie Ann Roark; 4 sisters, Irene (Jimmy) Jolly, Ales Conyers, Mary (Grady) Tisdale, all of Kingstree and Hilda (Donnie) Kirby, of Darlington; 3 brothers, Rhett (Dorothy) Moore, Jimmy Moore, and Kenneth “Bobo” (Linda Sue) Moore, all of Kingstree.
    Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday, March 29, 2014, in Kingstree Church of God of Prophecy, with burial in Twin Pines Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM Friday at Williamsburg Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Kingstree Church of God of Prophecy Building Fund, 701 Fulton Avenue, Kingstree, SC 29556.
