Reese Francis Morris, Jr., 56, died Saturday, December 21, 2013, in Carolinas Hospital in Florence.
     Mr. Morris was born June 3, 1957, in Kingstree, a son of Bertha Hatcher Morris Harris and the late Reese Francis Morris, Sr. He was a graduate of Kingstree High School and was retired from Santee Electric Cooperative. Reese was a member of the Waccamaw Indian Tribe, a member of Mill Branch Hunting Club, and a member of First Assembly of God Church. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister Dorothy Parks.
     Surviving are: his mother Bertha Harris, of Kingstree; 2 sons, Reese F. “Trey” (Lori) Morris, III, of Andrews and Wyatt Morris, of Kingstree; a grandson Marlin Morris, of Andrews; 3 sisters, Toby (Bobby) Dukes, of Kingstree, Mary (William) Bryant, of Gaston, and Judy (Tom) Banty, of W. Columbia; and several nieces and nephews.
      Graveside funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday December 24, 2013, in Kingstree Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM Monday at Williamsburg Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
