Rebecca Ann Flagler Smith, 83, of Kingstree, SC, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.
Ann was born July 14, 1943, in Kingstree, SC, a daughter of the late John C. Flagler and Pauline Tisdale Flagler. She was a graduate of Kingstree High School. Many of you knew her from the Exchange Bank of Kingstree, where she retired after 34 years of service to the bank. She loved all of her customers.
Ann is survived by: her daughter Rhonda Smith of the home where she took care of her mother until her passing; a brother, John Charles “Chuck” Flagler, of Kingstree; a granddaughter, Mrs. McKenzie Loos and her husband Tanner Loos both of Winston Salem, NC., and Ann’s great granddaughter, Adellaide Loos of Winston Salem, along with a future great grandson, Luke Loos; and lots of cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Linton Smith, Sr., her son, Ronald Linton Smith, Jr., daughter Sheila Smith Forester and infant daughter, Cheral Angela Smith.
