Arthur Douglas “Bubba” Langston, 70, husband of Elaine Tisdale Langston, died Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence.

         Mr. Langston was born November 26, 1948, in Andrews, SC, a son of the late Kenneth Wade Langston and Carrie Casselman Langston. Bubba was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He also enjoyed raising chickens and quail. He attended Antioch Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a retired Pentecostal Holiness preacher. He preached at Mt. Castle Holiness Church in Andrews for over 20 years. Bubba was also an accomplished diesel mechanic.

     Surviving Mr. Langston, in addition to his wife Laura “Elaine” Tisdale Langston, are: children, Robbie (Elizabeth) Langston, Charlotte (Junior) Moore, and Holly Martin, all of Andrews, and Michaela Langston, of Nesmith; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Don (Pansy) Langston and Dan Langston; a sister, Jan (George) West, all of Andrews; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bubba was preceded in death by a daughter, Anna Marie Langston, a brother, Van Langston and a sister, Barbara Ann Davis.

     A memorial service for Bubba will be 3 PM Sunday, March 24, 2019, at Antioch Pentecostal Holiness Church in Andrews. His family will receive friends at home.
