Bobby Lee Reardon, 90, devoted husband of Lottie Eaddy Reardon, passed away peacefully Monday, April 20, 2026, at his home in New Zion, SC.
Bobby was born November 9, 1935, in Williamsburg County, a son of the late Lee Bristow Reardon and Eliza Fowler Mouzon. He was a graduate of Kingstree High School and received an associate degree in Electrical, Heating and Air. Bobby was a proud veteran of the US Air Force, retiring after 20 years. Over his civilian career he worked with the US Postal Service, Carolina Eastern Duke, and several other jobs to always be helpful and keep busy. He was a faithful member of Mouzon Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder and was a member of both Kingstree Masonic Lodge No. 46 AFM and Greeleyville Inglesby Masonic Lodge No. 267 AFM. He was also a member of Omar Jokers Shrine Club. He joined the group ScenicBlackRiver.com to help protect his beloved Black River. Bobby loved to fish and just float down the river and enjoy God’s beautiful creation. He was an avid hunter also, enjoying the outdoors and the change of seasons. When he was not busy outside you could find him happily working in his woodworking shop creating gifts for family and friends. But on most Thursday nights he would be with his buddies at Choir Practice (Club) in Lane eating supper and “catching up with the guys.” He will be missed by all who know him.
In addition to his wife of almost 69 years, Lottie, Bobby is survived by: three daughters, Cindi (Joe) Ramseur of Bessemer City, NC, Debi Reardon of New Zion, and Ginger Reardon of New Zion; six grandchildren, Audrey R. (Chad) Edwards of Bessemer City, NC, Nick Ramseur of Weaverville, NC, Meredith R.(Cory) Biggs of Rockwell, NC, Austin Coker and Summer Coker, both of New Zion and Corey Creel of Andrews; five great grandchildren, Henry Biggs, Rhett Edwards, Dylan Edwards, Millie Creel, and Raleigh Toney; sister-in-love, Wendy (Allen) Hardy, niece, April Hardy, both of Salters; sisters, Paulette (Jerry) McKenzie and Margaret Harrington, both of Kingstree, and Helen Reardon of New Zion. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Fletcher and a brother, Charles Reardon. Bobby’s family would especially like to offer a sincere thank you to the team at Amedisys Hospice for their loving care of Bobby. They treated him with kindness and love.
