Funeral services will be 11 AM Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Visitation
Danny’s family will greet friends at the church one hour before the service at 10:00 AM..
Daniel Madison “Danny” McKenzie, 61, passed away at home Tuesday, April 19, 2022.
Mr. McKenzie was born October 27, 1960, in Kingstree, a son of Barbara Ann Taylor “Bunny” McKenzie and the late Troy Madison McKenzie. Danny was a member of Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving Mr. McKenzie, in addition to his mother Bunny, are: brothers, Rocky (Viney) McKenzie, Ray (Tammy) McKenzie, and Mike McKenzie, all of Kingstree; sisters, Mitsy (Jimmy) Foxworth of Kingstree, Sherry Hester of Savannah, GA, and Tina (Neil) Vause of Cades; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Danny was preceded in death by a sister, Victoria McKenzie, a nephew, Gunter Epps, grandparents, Pomp and Camilla McKenzie and Daniel and Melvia Taylor, aunt, Elsie Cumbie, uncle, Dan Taylor, and cousins, Wendell Moore, Mark Taylor, Hal Watford, and Cliff Watford.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness Church. Danny’s family will greet friends at the church one hour before the service at 10:00 AM.. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.WilliamsburgFuneralHome.com.

Mrs. Bunny, I am so sorry to hear about Danny. I was sitting and thinking and I remember Wayne and I going to your house on occasion to spend time with Rocky, Danny and Ray. We had lots of fun in those days playing at your house and also playing golf together. I will be praying for you that God will comfort and bring peace to your heart.
My heart is Saddened to hear this. He sure lived of hella live. I first met him at a party for him, I was with a friend and he was walking around chasing a couple little kids. I moved back years later and re met him again this time he had wheels. He and I went thur more than my share of good times. He’s true laughter is a one of a kind.. the years and another move by myself has kept me from visiting him. I sure wish him the best life he can have no. He is once again walking around with his sister and nephew dad and grand parents. Fly high Dano may you rest in forever peace.
We are sorry for the loss of Danny. He will surely be missed. Our thought and prayers go out to Bunny and the rest of the family.

Hearts are sadden here on Earth, but God needed a special Angel for some reason, we know not why, but he’s now home with our Lord, walking, running, dancing and laughing with Troy, Dan, and others.
