David “Dave” Harry Johnson, 69, died at home Sunday, October 10, 2021.

   Mr. Johnson was born February 22, 1952, in Florence, SC, a son of the late Otis Johnson and Elizabeth “Betsy” Hughes Johnson. He was a graduate of Kingstree High School and worked at Wellman Industries in the maintenance department for many years. Dave enjoyed fishing, playing golf, and playing his guitars.

   Surviving Mr. Johnson are his son, Daniel (Brittany Stone) Johnson of New Zion; his daughter, Heather (Jeffrey) McIntyre of Millington, NJ; and five grandchildren, Connor and Nathan McIntyre and Landon, Riley, and Daisy Johnson.

    Sorry to hear of Dave’s passing- we spent many a weekend riding dirt bikes all over the southeast-needless to say we outgrew such nonsense and loved to reminisce about our foolishness!!

    so sorry to hear of the passing of one of my great friends , i just meet Dave a few years ago and we just became really close friends ,he worked for me @ McCallfarms for a few years went on several boat trips , played some golf together and often he came to my house and we would just sit and talk about everything we just had a lot in common and always enjoyed just picking on each other , i am really going to miss my friend and all the great memories we shared in such a short time and i want to thank God for every moment he gave me to spend with my friend !
