    Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Midway Presbyterian Church, with a burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Monday, October 29, 2018 at Williamsburg Funeral Home.

Hilma Thompson McAllister, 90, died Saturday, October 27, 2018.

Mrs. McAllister was born August 6, 1928 in Hemingway S.C., she was the daughter of the late Troy Lee Thompson and Winnie Bell McAllister Thompson. She was a graduate of Kingstree High School. Mrs. Hilma worked at Rose’s in Kingstree for 34 years, Variety Wholesale for 5 years and B.C. Moore & Sons for 15 Years. She was a member of Midway Presbyterian Church, where she and Audis were Adult Leaders for the League. Mrs. Hilma was a former choir member, member of the Circle, a Sunday School Teacher and an Elder.

Surviving Mrs. Hilma is: her son-in-law, Bill Burgess, of Kingstree; one brother, James L. (Mary Ellen) Thompson, of Hinesville, GA; three grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Mrs. McAllister was preceded in death by her husbands, H. Audis Reardon and Mack A. McAllister, a son, Audie L. “Ron” Reardon, step son, Bobby McAllister, and a daughter Miriam Burgess.

    So sad to learn of Mrs. Hilma’s passing. I worked at Rose’s with her when I was in high school and have fond memories of her. Praying for the family.
