Sending prayers of comfort and healing to all who loved Joni. Lots of wonderful childhood memories of her.
Joni was a wonderful friend and will be missed by all of us. Prayers for the family during this difficult time.
My deepest sympathy to Joni’s loving family. I pray your cherished memories of Joni will be a comfort to you all.
Chad, I’m so very sorry to hear of Joni’s passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your entire family.
Joni was a close and very dear friend for nearly 30 years. She loved life and was the type friend who would give you the shirt off her back. She loved deeply and unconditionally. When there was work to be done she kept her feet to the fire until the job was finished. When the work was completed she was a fun-loving confidante. One of my favorite memories of Joni is the day she went with Momma and me to pick blueberries. Momma and I gave out long before she did, but like The Energizer Bunny she just kept on going! We laughed about that for a long time. She was a friend to all, and never met a stranger. It was difficult to watch her decline over the years, after her back injury and subsequent surgery. But she was still the same person and loved just like she always had – deeply and unconditionally. I’ll miss her warmth and nurturing, and she will live on in my heart.
Chad and Scarlett, I was saddened to discover that my friend Joni had passed. When I got injured in 07, Joni became a friend and confident. We spent alot of time talking on Facebook comparing injuries. She always spoke kindly about her days growing up in Salters with the 2 of you. Please know I am praying for you both. Love y’all.
