I am the CEO of the International Foundation for Autoimmune & Autoinflammatory Arthritis, we took over managing the Stills disease group when the Stills Disease foundation dissolved in 2017. That’s how I got to know Joseph. He messaged me several times over the last year about doing more volunteer work, as he’d see a post I would do and he would get inspired – he was so passionate and caring and just a really great person with contagious energy! I know he struggled the last year or so, in and out of the hospital, but one thing I noticed is he was always checking in to the group to check on everyone else. Even when I got very sick in early 2019 he was sending me prayers and checking in on my status. I have no doubt heaven adopted another angel who is going to continue helping others in many ways. It just was part of him.

My sincerest condolences to the family and all friends whose lives he touched.
