Funeral Services

A graveside funeral service will be held at 3 PM Saturday, January 27, 2024, in Mount Vernon Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation
Levelia’s family will greet friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
Levelia Frierson ”Snookie” Sarine, 81, wife of the late Victorine Sarine, died Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at her son’s home in Walterboro, SC.

Mrs. Sarine was born March 5, 1942, in Kingstree, SC, the daughter of the late John Luther Frierson and Meta Willis Frierson. She was a graduate of Kingstree High School, managed Gamble’s Liquor Store and Family Dollar and retired from Fresenius Medical Care in North Charleston. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and baking and was always involved with the lives of her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Mount Vernon United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Sarine is survived by: a daughter, Mandi (Bob) Nance of Hartford, KS; three sons, Emory Leverette and Darren Sarine, both of Walterboro, and Gerry L. (Renee) Sarine of Summerville; grandchildren, Jamie Bowen, Christopher Yeo, Katrina Leveille, Cody Yeo, Zachary and Tucker Nance, Alexis Sarine, and Amber Sarine; eight great grandchildren; a brother, Roy (Nancy) Frierson of North Carolina; and niece and nephew, Sherry and Bryan.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 3 PM Saturday, January 27, 2024, in Mount Vernon  United Methodist Church Cemetery. Levelia’s family will greet friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
