Mary Wicker McIntosh Hance, 76, passed away on August 6, 2026, in Kingstree, South Carolina. Born to the late Frank Wesley McIntosh II and Ann Dugger McIntosh, Mary lived an interesting and well-traveled life. After many years of living in various places throughout the United States and abroad, she eventually returned home to Kingstree.
Mary found joy in spending time with her family, whether gathered in the kitchen or sharing quiet moments. She loved baking treats that became favorites among those who knew her, and she expressed her creativity through quilting, crafting pieces that reflected her warmth and care.
Mary is survived by her siblings, Bill McIntosh (Lynn) of Seabrook Island, SC, and JoAnn Gibbs (John) of Hilton Head Island, SC. She was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Wesley McIntosh III.
She leaves behind her children—Courtney McClary (Carey), Jennifer Krieger (Justin), and Kurt Mead (Brye) and six grandchildren: Chris, Joey, Alex, David, Hallie, and Maddie.
