Dearest Melanie and Michael and all of the Wall family
Your precious Ruby was ALWAYS a blessing to us. She and Mr. Bobby spoiled us all. He would take Rex deep sea fishing and tell stories and laugh. Oh such a family. they would often take our children just to have a fun day on the golf carts When Mr Hunter passed away, she drove all the way to Columbia and served food to our family … food that she had cooked just to bless others. Mercy. Such a woman. She MANY times did my laundry when we were going through chemo. She would take the children for the day when I could not walk or could not teach.
She loved her JESUS well. She prayed over you each and every one of you EVERYDAY. SHE WILL LONG BE remembered for her prayers. I thank JESUS for her and her life well loved for Christ. Blessings on you during this time of sorrow.

I loved Ruby. She sat beside me in Sunday School. She loved her Lord and studied and knew her Bible. What a life well-lived! I can’t help but wonder if the Lord spared her life from the wreck to send her to the hospital to be a witness for Him. She will be missed by many.

  12. Patsy Martin

My friend Ruby was a bold witness for Christ. Her desire
was to serve her Lord as long
as she lived and she accomplished her mission to do
just that. Ruby will be dearly
    missed.

  13. Keith & Sandra Phemister

I’ll always remember Ruby as a pioneer type woman. She knew life was work, and she worked hard to make a good life for herself and her family. She was a good wife, mother, school teacher, grandmother, housekeeper, cook, gardener, canner, sewer & mender. She even mowed the lawn, and I don’t know what else. She wasn’t afraid to tackle any job that might need doing. She also took time to teach Sunday School. She was quite a woman!

My wife and I are so grateful to have been co-grandparents with Ruby and Bobby! She was a wonderful grandmother to our grandchildren! Our son was so fortunate to have married Ruby’s daughter, Melanie, who is a worker just like her mother. Together, we instilled in our grandchildren the love of family and others. We will miss her presence, but she will always be in our hearts.

As long as I live, I will be grateful to Mrs Ruby Wall for being the hands and feet of Jesus to me at a time when I desperately needed it. Each time I open my Bible, there is a scotch-taped devotion on the inside cover based on Psalm 100 from one of her books. To say it’s been a guidepost of sorts through the past 30+ years would be a great understatement. Thank you Melanie, for sharing your precious, treasure of a Mama with the world.
