Samuel Glendal “Glen” Reardon, age 77, passed from this world and entered into the presence of Jesus his Savior on January 10, 2026, after a prolonged illness. Born in New Zion, SC, he was the son of Wade Hilbert (W.H.) and Gladys Knowlton Reardon. He was a beloved and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His loyalty and devotion to his family, and to his work, were the drive for his life. He truly enjoyed the challenges of his HVAC and electrical work and used this as a tool to bless others. He was an active member in his church and community at Midway Presbyterian Church. He was a deacon and the Sunday School Superintendent for over thirty years. His dedication and loyalty were true blessings to the community around him. He was an avid fisherman and loved to dove and quail hunt.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Mae Tilton Reardon, his youngest son, Brett Coleman Reardon, his parents, and oldest brothers, Wade Dalton Reardon and John Vearon Reardon.
He is survived by his children, Sheryl Renee Reardon Bahrns (David) of Kingstree, and Wade Alex Reardon (Jennie) of Greenville, SC. He is survived by his beloved grandchildren: Brett Anson Bahrns, Lilly Bethany Bahrns, Lottie Aline Reardon, Maryanne Grace Reardon, Julia Rose Reardon, and Elyse Margaret Reardon. He is survived by his younger brothers, Oris Benward Reardon (Elaine), and Alga Liston Reardon (Robin).

So sorry for your loss. Glenn was a special person.

  2. Dot Stewart

Glen was a good and Godly man. He was extremely kind to our son Sam when Sam was growing up. Glen was a good caring friend to Bobby especially the last years of Bobby’s life. My loving thoughts and prayers for Renee and Wade and their families.
