Mayme, Jon, Sam, David, Russell and family: I am so sorry to hear about your dad, Sammy. I remember him and your mom fondly from when I was a part of the family. I would have attended the service except for the fact that I have been snowed and iced in on my mountain in Burnsville, NC, since Saturday, January 15. We are all hoping to get off the mountain tomorrow (Tuesday, January 25). To David…Lyla Lifrage, Geoff’s granddaughter, finally took professional golf lessons last year. Maybe she and I will get to play at the Swamp Fox sometime soon. Sending prayers, condolences, and best wishes to you all.
