Mr. William Michael “Mike” McKenzie, 62, died Friday, August 26, 2022, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC.

Mike was born December 17, 1959, in Kingstree, SC, the son of the late William M. McKenzie and Jettie Mae McClam Cannon. He was a graduate of Kingstree Senior High School and was employed at Meherrin. Mike loved the outdoors and was a member of Sandy Bay Dove Club. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and never met a stranger. Mike was a member of Cades Baptist Church.

Surviving Mr. McKenzie are: three sisters, Ola Mae Love, Annette Ardis, and Lois Taylor; like a brother, Rocky (Viney) McKenzie; his second mother, Barbara “Bunny” McKenzie; special friend, Norma McKenzie; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be 11 AM, Monday, August 29, 2022, at Smith Cemetery.
